WSA-IGO aims to utilize sport as a platform to raise awareness, educate, inspire, and mobilize youth towards a sustainable future while fostering their personal development. This will be achieved by prioritizing the implementation of GREEN Initiatives that have direct and immediate impacts on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to create significant social and environmental impact through SPORTS.

The WSA renewed Mission
Integrates the promotion of the New Climate Economy with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while developing innovative initiatives to support youth sports development. The organization aspires to establish sustainable programs, organize eco-responsible events, and build green partnerships while raising awareness of global challenges through sport.
To reconcile support for the New Climate Economy aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with youth sports development initiatives, after consulting with our Member States, we are considering the following actions:
- Promote green partnerships by collaborating with companies and organizations focused on sustainability to provide financial and logistical support for youth sports initiatives.
- Establish sustainable and eco-friendly sports facilities to host Sports Academies dedicated to national, provincial, and local youth development.
- Implement sustainable sports programs:
- By integrating environmentally friendly practices and information on the SDGs into sports programs to raise awareness among youth about climate issues while promoting their personal development.
- By creating specialized programs to identify and develop youth sports talents to professional levels, alongside developing a scholarship program for student-athletes.
- Organize eco-friendly sports events and competitions between Member States by opting for events that minimize carbon footprint.
